We have one of the best beaches on the coast with secure safe swimming under the supervision of lifesavers in season and on weekends. Our beach is also shark-net protected.

During those hot humid summers this is the place to be to cool down or put your feet up in the shade. In winter-time guests often curl up with a book on the sun loungers around the pool.

FISHING

Fishing can be done from the beach or rocks in close proximity to the resort. This is a popular pastime for both young and old with a host of species on offer. Fishing licenses are required and can be purchased at the nearest post office which is roughly 3km from the resort.

Both young and old can spend many hours scouting the rock pools and snorkeling in the rock pools looking at the variety of sea life that call this place home.

DOLPHIN & WHALE WATCHING

The Humpback Whale is a seasonal visitor to our coast line and are seen in large groups from June through to November when they travel through the area. Dolphins can be spotted throughout the year.

The South Coast is a very popular region for golf. With no less then 8 Golf courses in a 70km radius of the resort, makes it a ideal venue base from which one can play a different course each day. These courses are Wild Coast Sun, San Lameer, Umdoni, Selbourne, Port Shepstone, Margate, Southbroom and Port Edward.

RIVERBEND CROCODILE FARM

The farm is open daily with the exception of Good Friday and Christmas day each year and the operating hours are from 9h00 to 16h30 daily. Feeding takes place on Sunday afternoons.Home to more than 200 adult nile crocodiles and numerous juveniles of all sizes, tourist visiting Riverbend Crocodile Farm are able to view the crocodiles in their natural habitat.
